Beeston Business Park is home to a long history of industry dating back to 1892 when Nelson cycle works developed a large factory on the site. In 1901 the telephone works took over and by the 1950’s they had expanded to the eastern and southern boundaries of the business park.
The 1960’s saw Plessey take the control of the park. Plessey were then taken over by Siemens. During the late 80’s and early 90’s the site underwent further change with additional buildings being added and some older buildings were replaced.
The 2000’s saw the business park at its peak with 2,500 people employed on site and in 2006 the park was given the official title of Beeston Business Park.
Beeston Business Park has recently been acquired
by a joint venture between two companies:
